Growing up in and around HVAC warehouses, Tom began working full-time at Dunphey Smith upon graduating from Allentown College in 1985. Starting in the warehouse, he gained experience by working in various departments including the counter, credit, purchasing, and sales. Through his dedication and hard work, Tom eventually became an owner of the company in 2016.
Tom has served on many advisory councils and is currently in his second term on the BLUE HAWK Board. In 2000, he founded COACHES CARE, a charity that raises money for sick children, with a focus on those suffering from brain cancer. Following their June golf event, the charity has raised nearly $1.5 million, significantly impacting the local hospital network.
He is also a celebrated athlete, having been inducted into the Hall of Fame at both his high school and college.
Tom has been married to his wife Laura for 37 years and they have two children. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, golfing, and spending time with his four – soon to be five – grandchildren.
