Rachel Nystrom is the President of D&L Parts Company, a family-owned business with a proud 70-year legacy. As the daughter of D&L Parts founder Ralph Brackett, she represents the next generation of leadership, honoring her father’s vision while driving innovation, process improvements, and rapid growth.

Since joining the company in 2016, Rachel has been instrumental in expanding D&L’s reach and services, growing its footprint from 18 locations to 28 branches and two distribution centers across the Carolinas and Virginia. She is deeply committed to the employees who make D&L a trusted name in the HVAC and appliance parts industry.

With a degree from Clemson University and an MBA from Arizona State, Rachel brings a strong foundation in leadership and strategy, ensuring the company’s continued success in a traditionally male-dominated field.

 Beyond her role at D&L, Rachel is an active leader in the business community. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Young Presidents’ Organization and has previously held board positions with the Appliance Parts Distributor Association and ARP Supply.

Outside of work, Rachel and her husband, Steve, share a passion for competition—whether on the volleyball court, golf course, or cheering on their favorite teams. Their 4-year-old daughter is the light of their lives, and they eagerly await the arrival of their new baby boy.
