Experience the thrill of ice fishing in the Gunnison Valley — a perfect winter adventure for anglers of all skill levels! Guided by local professionals, you’ll be fully equipped with everything you need for a safe and successful day on the ice, including huts, heaters, rods, reels, fish finders, and more. Target rainbow trout, brown trout, mackinaw, and even the occasional kokanee salmon or perch. Get ready for an unforgettable day in the heart of the Rockies.
Snowshoeing

Guides will take us safely into the backcountry around Crested Butte for a unique winter adventure.
Nordic Skiing Lesson

$135 per skiier
Includes: professional instructor, instructor gratuity, and rental equipment.
Nordic skiing, also known as cross-country skiing, is a fun and energizing way to explore snow-covered landscapes while getting a great full-body workout. Whether you’re brand new to the sport or looking to improve your technique, this expert-led lesson is for all levels. Learn the basics of classic skiing in a supportive environment, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery and some of the best-groomed Nordic trails in Colorado. It’s the perfect winter activity for all ages!
Once the lesson is finished, you’re welcome to continue using what you learned and continue skiing on your own until it’s time to return your rentals.

Wednesday Tour: The perfect blend of nicely groomed forest service roads, some powder riding in large open meadows, rolling hills, trail riding, and spectacular scenic views including Irwin Lake and the Wilderness Family Movie Cabin as well as the majestic peaks of the Ruby Mountain Range. This is a great tour for all ages and ability levels!
Thursday Tour: Experience the ultimate snowmobile adventure with the Half Day Combo Tour. Ride through the scenic Gunnison National Forest on groomed trails and dive into off-trail powder riding in the wide-open meadows of Splains Gulch. Combined with rolling hills, forest roads, and breathtaking views of Irwin Lake, the Ruby Mountains, and the Wilderness Family Movie Cabin, this tour offers the perfect mix of excitement and scenery for skill levels.

Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC) is the closest airport to the resort, located just 30 minutes from Crested Butte. GUC offers daily winter flights from major hubs including Denver (DEN), Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), and Houston (IAH).
